NA 012 Chemical Apparatus Standards Committee

The chemical apparatus standards committee concentrates its activities on National, European and International Standardisation of chemical apparatus. This includes standardisation of material, construction, production and testing of pressure vessels and plants, surface protection including enamels, documentation for process plants, dispense systems for draught beverages, glass apparatus and pipings as well as glass reinforced plastic (GRP) vessels and apparatus. The FNCA cooperates actively with the European and International committees CEN/TC 54 "Unfired pressure vessels", CEN/TC 210 "GRP tanks and vessels" and ISO/TC 10 "Technical product documentation" and ISO/TC 11 "Boilers and pressure vessels". The FNCA holds the Secretariats of several European Working groups and the International Subcommittee ISO/TC 10/SC 10. The support of this work by experts of the interested parties and the financing by all interested companies and associations is necessary in order to introduce German safety aspects and standard contents into European and international standardization.
